On a hill, 'neath waving pine trees, I graduated from Nevada Union High School. During my time in High School, I competed on the volleyball team, including three years of varsity. I traveled to Colima, Mexico on a service trip called Project Amigo to teach underprivileged youth dental hygiene and I served as a Big Brother in the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.
I officiated youth basketball and volleyball Grass Valley Recreation during my time in high school. When I graduated, I was asked to build a few web applications to make the administrative process smoother and maintain their databases.
I attended Santa Barbara City College starting in August of 2012. I played volleyball for the Vaqueros for two years, making the CCCAA Scholar team in 2013. Additionally, in Spring of 2013 I was inducted into Sigma Delta Mu, a spanish speaking honor society. I ended my time at SBCC with two AA degrees, one in Mathematics and the other in Behavioral Science. Go Vaqs!
My college job was working at the skate store in Downtown Santa Barbara. I started as a seasonal sales member of the team and worked my way into management. I was ableto be apart of the hiring process for new salespeople as well as a key holder to the shop. Additionally, I was awarded the 100K award which is given to the top sellers in the company.
With only two years to make an impact at SCU, I tried to do as much as possible. I joined Sigma Chi Fraternity in my first fall quarter and was fortunate to be apart of an organization to raise over 50,000 dollars for the John Lester Foundation and the Huntsman Cancer Institute. I held the service chair position in my fraternity in my final year where I organized community service opportunities for our members. The next quarter I started doing research which would lead to a published paper following my graduation. On campus, I worked as a teachers assistant for physics professors and referred basketball games. Additionally, I was a two time intramural champ.
Before I graduated from Santa Clara University, I started working in Tesla's flagship showroom in San Jose. As a Cistomer Experience Specialist I generated over 4.5 Million dollars in revenue selling models S, 3, X and, Y.
I joined Google as a contractor with BCForward. At Google, I worked as a DevOps Engineer and worked with mobile developers on the Google Play Store. While I was there, I was a key member during the integration of our internal ticketing system, Cases2.
I enrolled in the Data Analytics Bootcamp to enhance my technical skills. During my time there, I sharpened my Python, Javascript, Tableau, R and Excel skills. I learned new skills like machine learning and used machine learning for my final project where I attempted to predict a professional baseball players salary based on their performance.
In 2019, I started as a Data Intelligence Manager in the Northern California region. After a few months from the start of the pandemic, I was promoted to Sr. Manager and inherited the Field Research team. We produced 20 quarterly reports describing the health of the Commercial Real Estate market. In 2021, I shed my Field Research responsibilities and was promoted to Associate Director of Data Intelligence. As a Director, I was focused on data strategy, creating new technologies to enhance the Broker Operating Platform and, impleting a new global research platform.
